Nursing Home – Sustainable design
60 bed single storey nursing home and 54 retirement dwellings and Day Care Centre.
Status: completed 2010.
State of the art sustainable air to water underfloor heating system employed throughout entire development, including 54 dwellings and day care centre. Light filled spaces, solar gain maximised through good orientation. Raised gardens for residents use, internal and secure courtyards for residents. Retirement Village with footpath link to town centre completed June 2010.
